Seeking part-time caregiver/companion opportunity in Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson. Hospice, CPR, First Aid trained. Would love to meet in person. Exp with stroke, non-verbal, DNR, Alzheimer's, MS, "failure to thrive," and Hospice patients. Accepting assignments to care for females, only, at this time. Schedule, manage and take clients to medical appointments, ensure understanding of diagnosis and physicians' instructions. Dispense medications in a timely manner. Patient or family member must be able to decide dosage and name of medication that is needed at a particular time. Assist in preparing lite meals. No cooking, cleaning or housekeeping. Guide patient/client with therapy and personal interests. Christian, love to sing. Will read patient's favorite books. Unable to care for pets, allergic to cats. Non smoker, excellent driving record, COVID, flu, pneumonia, shingles vaccinated. Unavailable on Sunday. Preference is to drive client's vehicle to transport.

I have known Ada for 35 years. She accompanied me when I had knee replacement surgery last year. She was able to speak competently with the surgeon and other hospital staff. After being released from the hospital, Ada provided excellent care until family member arrived from out of town. She has a passion for providing care and companionship, especially for senior citizens.
