I would describe my personality as caring, compassionate and trustworthy. I've been told I have a calming presence. I like caring for seniors because I feel our aging population needs a trustworthy advocate in their corner without judgment. I'm passionate about helping this underserved population. I started caring for seniors on a volunteer basis in 2017, while working for the Postal Service. I delivered mail for 30 years and occasionally helped my elderly customers with basic needs, including one that I helped for a year in my spare time. One thing you should know about me is that I have good interpersonal skills. The trust factor is huge in this relationship and I hold that in the highest regard. My skills include good communication and conversational skills. I am able to be attuned to the needs of others and help with every day needs before there is a problem. I enjoy cooking or making light meals. I speak English and Spanish fluently but my jokes are usually in English.
