About Ada Marie

Ada and I worked as colleagues for 2 years. We both taught English and shared a classroom, so I was in the unique position to witness Ada's teaching and instruction on a daily basis. Ada is able to channel her enthusiasm for her content area into innovative and differentiated lessons designed to meet the needs of all the learners in her classroom. In addition to her role as a classroom teacher providing instruction to more than 20 students at a time, Ada also frequently worked with struggling students one-on-one. Her patience and experience allowed her to reach the student on his or her individual level. If one approach wasn't working, then she would move to another until the student showed progress in understanding a literature concept or writing method. Ada continues to be a reflective practitioner, and she and I frequently collaborate on lessons and ways to make our instruction better for our respective students. I highly recommend Ada as teacher both on the merits of her personal character and her professional expertise.
