I was privileged to grow up surrounded by loving grandparents (I had 17 at one point!) I have enjoyed & cared for seniors all my life. Some of my "work" (much of it was unpaid) includes spending them in nursing homes, caring for them in their own homes and doing housework, yard work and errands for them. I cared for my grandmother, who lived with me for several years, as she progressed through the early stages of Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. I have experience in caring for people with disabilities, and can assist with all activities of daily living. I understand the challenges of having a family member with declining abilities and health, and would love to give you the peace of mind that a trusted caregiver brings.

I have had the honor of knowing Acela. for 10 years or more. I have seen her in a variety of settings. She taught our son in a Spanish class when he was in 2nd grade. Several years later she tutored him for his complete curriculum his ninth grade year of high school. She is very dependable, intelligent and capable of handling any situation with maturity and careful consideration. She is of such character we would ask her and her husband to take our youngest child should anything happen to my husband and me. I have seen her commitment to students, and their learning in the setting of a classroom. I have also seen her loving and organizational parental involvement as a parent of students in a variety of extracurricular activities. Her unwavering dedication to her husband and children lead others to follow in a similar pattern. She also meticulously cared for her grandmother for several years. Her love and devotion to those in her life is commendable. I would recommend Acela without reservation to care for any age individual, pet or home.
