About Acela
I have had dogs and cats all my life. I currently have two old but loud and energetic dogs and one cantankerous cat, who likes to jump on counters and knock things over to get attention. They are obnoxious, but we love them. I have often cared for my friends' pets when they went out of town, and even done some rescue & foster work. A fun fact: My daughter was a TV spokesperson for Save-A-Pet, and I always accompanied her to help pick up the dogs and take them to the TV studio for their interview & back to the kennel.

Acela was a very dear friend for several years. We were both home school moms, and our daughters were best friends. Through the years, we shared many things with each other: meals, kids, laughter, pain, aspirations, goals. We went to Bible study together and visited each others churches. I was a nanny for a year, and when I had to move to another state, she took over the position. Acela is an extremely caring, sweet lady, and I have always held her in very high regard.
