Hey there! My name is Acacia and I'm currently looking for a nanny position in the Houston area. I recently completed my master's degree at UH in December in Social Work. While completing my masters program I worked full-time as a nanny for a family in Montrose with children age 2 and 5 for a little over a year. I have worked with children for over 10 years in various capacities including child development centers, schools and nanny positions. Prior to nannying & grad school, I worked as an assistant guide in the Children's House Community (ages 3-6) at Austin Montessori School for four years, and am very fond of Maria Montessori's approach to raising and teaching children. I am CPR and First Aid certified in addition to being fully vaccinated against COVID-19. When I'm not spending time with children, I enjoy running with my pups or picking up a good book. Can't wait to meet my next family!
