About Abigayle

Hello! My name is Abigayle, Abby, and I have been working with kids since I was 11 years old! My father was in the Coast Guard so a way I would make extra income was by babysitting! I have done nannying, all day babysitting, and just regular date night babysitting! I use to volunteer at my church with children's church for a few years! I started a program at one of the churches for kiddos who are disabled or needed a break from the bigger class! This was helpful for the kids to be able to utilize coping mechanisms such as fidget toys, coloring, and music to relax and calm down after being overstimulated. I really like encouraging kids to go after their interests and hobbies! Some of my kids loved reading so I would bring them books from my own personal childhood collection. Some of my other kids loved bugs so I would take them outside and we would go bug hunting! Some of my kids loved Pokémon so I would bring my own Pokémon cards when I had them and we would sort them!
