I have always had a passion for caring for others! A little over a year ago I started working at a place called the Plus Center where I work with individuals with disabilities, most often Cerebral Palsy. Because every client is different I have a range of experience with things like g and j tubes, seizure disorders, feeding, bath-rooming, range of motion etc. I also have experience working with individuals with things like Adhd and Autism Spectrum Disorder. I am in a program through St. Kate's studying Occupational Therapy, in a little under two years I will be a certified OTA, though I plan on furthering and becoming an OT. I am looking for a flexible position as my school program is year round, and I work part time at the Plus Center still.
