About Abigail

I am 25 years old. I grew up in a large family of six children in the hills of Virginia. I have worked as a banker, loan officer, financial advisor and IRA processor for the last several years and I am looking to step back and work in a field that I am more passionate about which is childcare and care giving. My siblings and I always had babysitting jobs growing up and I also volunteered in the nursery at my church, so I'm very comfortable around children. My mother has been a nurse for over 40 years and worked in the NICU for 27 of those years, so I've had the privilege of learning a lot from her about care giving. I am recently married and moved to Paducah KY for my husband's job. I am a CNA and I am CPR/First Aid trained. My personality has been described by others as positive, caring, kind and very patient. I like working with children because they bring joy, love and laughter, no day is the same and it's very rewarding.
