She has been watching our son full time starting when he was 9 months old. He is now transitioning to daycare, and we are devastated to move on. She is thoughtful, considerate, caring, nurturing, silly, patient, energetic, organized, and every other trait one could hope to find in a childcare provider. She helped our son work on potty training, walking, talking, fine and gross motor skills, all with incredible patience and clear Montessori tools and strategies. She helped with food prep making balanced and appropriate meals. She helped him work on, and master, baby-led weaning, despite the mess that ensues! She is always looking for extra tasks, going above and beyond to keep our son happy and home organized and inviting. She came up with dozens of art projects for him to do. She took him out of the house most days to toddler play spaces, playgrounds, museums etc. She has kept all his toys and books organized and often rotated to keep him engaged. Beyond her clear expertise and talent for childcare, She is also simply a wonderful human being. She has been an ear for when parenting has been overwhelming, she shares in the delight of watching my son grow and experience the world, but above all, she makes my son enjoy each day he is away from us. He absolutely lights up when he sees her, and I can’t think of anything more a parent would want when entrusting someone with their child. She truly cares about her work and our family, and I cannot recommend her enough!
