My name is Abi. I grew up in Portland Oregon and I am 20. I started working with children at a young age. My mom has been an educator my whole life and when I was seven I started helping my mom in her classroom. When I was nine, I started helping a grandma down the street with her two grandchildren. At the age of 11, I started watching the kids alone. During covid, I was their primary childcare and helped with online school and everything else. I also have experience working with children on the Autism spectrum. During middle school I was a teacher's assistant in the life skills room. I enjoy working with children of all different dispositions and celebrate every kid for who they are. I am responsible but also fun and enjoy planning activities like scavenger hunts and art projects. I'd be happy to help with around-the-house as well if that is something you would like!
