About Abigail

Hey there! I'm an 18-year-old student going on my 6th year in childcare! I am available Tues-Sunday after 5 p.m. My previous employment consists of an afterschool theatre teacher specializing in the fostering of youth creativity and speech skills, a summer camp coordinator facilitating the programs efficiency by providing materials, instruction, and support to students, teachers, and parents, and a Skills Trainer at a Family Services in which I guided youth through various CBT & DBT therapeutic skills, taught essential life lessons (what does kindness look like? how can we advocate for ourselves? etc.), and above all, ensured the clients felt safe & respected. Additionally, I have maintained regular babysitting positions throughout beginning in 2019-current! Communication, compassion, and safety are my top priorities. I completely understand the uncertainty that goes into finding a new caretaker, nanny, etc. and thus I am privileged to be your next one!
