About Abigail

Hi, my name is Abbey! I am 25 years old. I have experience working in a daycare/preschool/kindergarten setting, important early childhood training certifications, and am currently making a career change to become a licensed Early Childhood Educator. I have most experience working with kids aged 18 months-5 years old, and past babysitting experience with kids age 7-8. I love working with kids for so many reasons. Kids are creative, upbeat, and curious. I consider it a special opportunity to help them navigate all the growth that comes with childhood! I have been told I have a knack with kids, and I do feel like they respond well to me. I am able to help them learn by playing with toys, games, reading books, as well as helping with any homework/worksheets. I have never felt more aligned with my talents and goals than when I work with children. That is why I am making the switch to Early Childhood Education.
