About Abigail

Hi! My name is Abby. I have seven years of experience working with children. I also recently had my own child. During my undergrad college years, I worked at a daycare as well as the Intercollegiate YMCA as an after school assistant and was later promoted to camp leader. I also worked with a family I met through care. com as a nanny for two years during my last few years of college and left once I graduated. I graduated from Ball State University in May 2017 with a bachelor's degree in social work. Post graduation, I spent a year with the Indiana Department of Child Services as a case manager. I then moved to Georgia and have been employed with Georgia DFCS the past two years. I obtained my Masters in Social Work in April 2020. I have such a passion for working with children and want to continue to do so, in a different capacity than I have been doing the last several years. I love being a caregiver and that feeling has only heightened since becoming a mother.
