About Abigail

I've always adored spending time with children and have dreamt of becoming a first-grade teacher from a young age. At 15, I started babysitting for family friends in Atlanta, caring for 6 families with children ages 8 months-10 y/o. For the past four years, l've worked at Camp Scene, a program specializing in environmental education. These experiences have given me the skills to care for children with a range of needs and personalities and to build a nurturing environment. I believe in creativity, patience, and open communication with parents to ensure children's happiness and growth. My love for outdoor activities, music, arts, games, and educational play allows me to foster a space where children thrive. My background includes interning in first-grade classrooms, 2. 5 years of college majoring in Early Education, and certifications in CPR and First Aid. I'm comfortable caring for three children, enforcing household rules, providing transportation, and I adore all animals.
