About Abigail

My name is Abie and I graduated last May from the University of Georgia with my bachelor's degree in social work. I am going back to school this summer to receive my masters degree in social work with a specialty in child welfare. I have a large background working with children and families and have a passion for problem solving and helping others. I've worked as a caseworker, a child and family advocate, after school care with grades K-5th, and have done multiple baby sitting/house sitting jobs throughout the years. I have four siblings and three of them have families of their own, which makes me an aunt to 10 amazing nieces and nephews. I'd describe my personality as easy going, funny, and kind! I like working with kids because they're curious and a lot smarter than we think they are. I'm looking for a job that can support my financial needs while I go back to graduate school. One thing you should know about me is I am all about communication and being honest with one another!
