About Abigail

I am a professional educator and have been working with children in a variety of different roles for the past 10 years. Over the years, I have worked with children in after school programs, summer camps, preschools, childcare centers, fitness centers, and as a baby sitter. In 2018, I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education with an endorsement in preschool special education. I have been teaching preschool-second grade students ever since. I have experience working with children with disabilities such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, and ADHD. I am highly creative and enjoy leading children in developmentally appropriate activities and crafts. I will bring a positive attitude and a smile every day. My approach is kind, gentle, and firm, yet supportive. As an experienced teacher, I am happy to work on social and academic skills with your child and will keep you updated with pictures while you are away. Your little ones will be in good hands while in my care!
