About Abigail

My name is Abbie, but spend 6 hours of my day known to most as "Ms. D." I am a special education teacher who works with students grades K-5 with social emotional needs. Prior to working in special education I was a 3rd grade teacher for 7 years. I have a passion for teaching and a true love of learning! When I am not teaching I am a fur mom to 2 long hair dachshunds! Teaching Licenses: Elementary Education 1-6 Moderate Special Education PreK-8 I'd describe my personality as personable, flexible and dedicated. I like tutoring because it allows students to bridge some of their gaps and build confidence in their classroom! In my spare time, I like to spend time with my fiancé, friends and family. One thing you should know about me is I am passionate about teaching and learning; I also love to make learning fun!
