About Abigail

Hi! I am an enthusiastic caretaker with over 9 years of experience caring for infants to 14-year-olds. I am happy to help with travel, errands, and carpooling as needed (I do have my own car in Brooklyn if that is ever useful.) I love the wonder that kids have for our world and enjoy taking kids on adventures in and out of the city, spending time engaging in imaginative and explorative play in the home, and reading (I am a volunteer reading tutor in Brooklyn so this is a particular passion of mine!) I work a 9-5 job from home as a senior manager at a gun violence prevention nonprofit. I feel passionate about my work and protecting children and allowing them space to enjoy their childhoods. I am currently applying to dual MSW/MPH programs to begin in the fall of 2023. If I sound like a good fit for your family, I would love to get to know you all!
