As a child I looked after a cousin with a special need. I took up special education in college and have a teaching license in the field. This is my 30th year working with children/adults with special needs. I am an Autism Specialist currently tutoring and mentoring people with autism. I love my life, my job, and appreciate everything my students do for me. They have given me purpose, and life enrichment while teaching me. I am humbled to have the opportunity to serve them. It's a true blessing to know your passion. I am grateful. :-) Another passion of mine is being a caregiver for the elderly. I have worked in this field for over 20 years as I took care of both of my grandparents who lived with us. My specialty is in Alzheimer's and dementia, my grandparents battled with this as I have also worked with numerous clients with the disease. Although challenging, these fields enhance my life and make me better. Hope I have the opportunity to work with you.
