About Abby

Though I graduated with a liberal arts degree, I've spent the last 13 years caring for children professionally. My most recent position was as a program manager of Farm to School of Park County, where I taught grades pre-k-2nd at Winans school, and ran the summer program for ages K-6. Before that, I worked mostly as a full time nanny but have also been a lead preschool teacher, special-education paraprofessional, and music teacher. I'm a professional singer-songwriter and lead a band that records and tours, which is why I left my previous position. I am now looking for a part-time caregiving job with a somewhat flexible schedule. I have taken kids cross country skiing, downhill skiing, hiking, swimming- you name it. I have taught kids in pretty much every subject, but I especially loved teaching Farm to School curriculum in gardening and cooking, as those are two of my biggest passions. I play multiple instruments and love to play music with kids.
