About Abby

I love helping people, so I have worked a caregiver role for many years; whether it be with children or seniors. I was a DSP at my last job for Trinity Services Inc. My responsibilities included passing out medications and taking vitals every morning, as I was med authorized. I was also expected to help the clients get up and ready for the day; getting them showered and dressed and helping them use the toilet, as needed. I also prepared and passed out breakfast, gathering lunches and personal items needed for the day and helped the clients get on the bus to go to day program. On occasion, I also drove the Trinity van to get them to the day program. Cleaning up the apartments and doing the client's laundry was also in my job description. I find it very rewarding to assist others with daily life skills and help them become more independent, as well as to create a bond as a trusted helper for each client that I serve.
