About Abby

I am a graduate student studying counseling at the University of Saint Joseph. I have worked with students in Montville Youth services after school and summer programs for several years. I have experience working with students with disabilities, specifically autism as a paraprofessional. I also have experience working with teenagers in a therapeutic group home. My education and experience has taught me how to be patient, flexible and be creative in finding ways to best help and adapt to the unique individual needs of the children I work with. As I am pursing my masters, I am hoping to find a position where I can encourage growth and development of children while being able to meet the needs of the children and family. I love crafts, kayaking, exploring nature and baking! I also love pets and have two adorable tuxedo cats!
