About Abby

I'd describe my personality as passionate, empathetic, confident. I like working with kids because I love seeing the world through their eyes. I'm looking for a job that works with my schedule as a student, so something that is fairly part-time. I started working with kids when I was a junior in high school, I have worked with two other families, but I also have little cousins and have spent 10 years spending time with them and taking care of them as well. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my friends and family, watch movies and tv, read, and do theatre. One thing you should know about me is I am also cognizant of the emotions of others, and always make sure that the feelings of the kids I work with are heard and validated. My skills include making sure kids do anything they need to do, having imaginative play time, and generally having fun!
