About Abby

My name is Abby, and I have been a nanny on and off for the past eight years. I attended Mendocino College in California, where I earned an associate's degree in Child Development after two years of study. During my time in school, I played softball and worked as a nanny. I'm currently taking classes to complete my degree in Child Psychology, with the goal of bettering my community and helping each child reach their full potential in every way possible. As a nanny, I focus on creating a day filled with engaging activities that help develop fine and gross motor skills, as well as verbal communication. Each day includes arts and crafts, active play, and plenty of outdoor exploration. For the past three years, I have lived in California, where I worked as a snowboard and ski instructor for children. Although I took a break from nannying, I continued to encourage children to reach their full potential in a new and sometimes intimidating environment. Thanks for your consideration.
