About Abby

Hi, my name is Abby and I am currently a sophomore at NC State University. I'm pursuing a Communication degree, as well as a Journalism minor and love to read and write. As a student that initially struggled with reading comprehension and writing in elementary school, I know it takes the extra mile to overcome these challenges and these ended up being my favorite subjects in school- all I needed was a good mentor. I worked as a nanny while in high school and love working with kids. This past summer I worked as a camp counselor at an overnight summer camp and thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to impact kids in a positive way.
