I have been working with children with specials needs since I was 13. I found passion in art therapy and continue to pursue a career in this field. I have worked at a summer camp for kids with special needs, volunteered throughout high school in various programs, taught a dance class for kids with special needs, and serve as a peer buddy in UMD's Best Buddies club. Last summer, I worked at a preschool as an assistant art therapist. The previous summer, I worked 40 hours a week as a nanny for a family of 5, in addition to completing household duties.
