I have childcare experience with a large demographic of kids from infants to 7-11-year-olds to middle school and older. I have looked after a 4-year-old on the Autism spectrum and I am currently looking after two 7-year-old boys, one of which is on the Autism spectrum, non-verbal and whom I feed through a tube. I am teaching myself ASL to be a better ally for deaf, hard of hearing and non-verbal communicators. I have volunteered as a reading tutor as well as helped coach 5th grade basketball, middle school cross country and track teams, and worked as a youth kayak instructor. I also have experience and enjoy spending time with young adults, as I was a Resident Assistant for two years while in college, working with students dealing with a variety of personal obstacles (academic, mental health, family concerns, etc.). I am moving across the country at the end of October so I am hoping to work with individuals or families that are seeking short term care.
