About Abby

I am a graduate of the Child Development program from CHSW, with CPR, first aid, and Rields certifications. I have worked alongside children in childcare settings for over 10 years, and have babysat for numerous families. I taught dance for around 9 years, with children ranging from ages 1-14. I am patient, caring, and personable. I started working with kids when I was around 8 years old, and I started teaching classes at RSDA. I continued for years, going on to bring my students to competitions out of state. One thing you should know about me is I have worked with children from all age groups, different backgrounds, and have been able to shadow with experienced teachers to work through different scenarios. My experience as a dance teacher and interning with elementary and preschool school teachers has given me the opportunity to problem solve and to observe different childcare techniques. Every child is unique, and it is important to adjust my response and action to fit their needs.
