About Abbie

Hello, my name is Abbie and I am 23 years old. I teach 2nd grade in Fairfax County Public Schools. I am available after school for weekdays you may need and weekends, however when summer starts I will be available more. I have 10 years of experience as a babysitter, during which I was a full time nanny for three different families, for children from newborn through the 8th grade. I also have a 6-year-old daughter, so I have plenty of experience from newborn to age six. I am CPR Red Cross Certified. I also have my own car and a clean driving record, so picking up your kiddos would not be a problem. I am very loving, patient and outgoing and love having activities that children will find entertaining. Babysitting is something I have always loved doing because it is so interesting to see how each child changes developmentally overtime. Babysitting and my love for kids actually helped me decide my career path!
