About Aasa

My name is Asa and I'm a Swedish preschool teacher. I moved to Charleston in November 2020, together with my husband and our three sons who are 16, 12 and 4 years old. I have a lot of experiences working with children in various types of environment, at home with my own kids and their friends, as a mascot/character at an amusement park, as a dance teacher and as a preschool teacher. Since the beginning of Marsh of 2022 I have been working as a preschool teacher in the Young 2 classroom in a half day preschool here in Charleston. My patient, creative, and approachable nature enables me to connect with children on a deeper level. I believe in open communication and regularly update parents about their child's day, using their preferred method of contact. When it comes to household rules, I follow the parents' lead to ensure consistency and respect their parenting style. I'm comfortable caring for two or three children at a time and enjoy engaging them in various activities.
