Senior Care Adult Day Care Center (SCCVA) offers recreational and therapeutic services to persons 55 years of age and older. Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Our center is located at 453 South Main Street, Rocky Mount, VA 24151.
Many recreational activities are provided which includesboard games for memory retention, music, discussion groups, Bible Study, arts and crafts and dance. Therapeutic wellness activities such as stretching exercises, health care monitoring, medication management and education are provided. Snacks and a full lunch are provided during the day.

Our Senior Care Adult Day Care Center works diligently to provide affordable senior health care and provide an alternative to institutionalization for persons with dementia, Alzheimer's or recovering from a stroke.
Meals are served with a 10 a.m. snack in the morning, a full nutritious and delectable lunch is served at 12 noon and another snack is served at 2 p.m. Transportation to and from the Center is also provided through the center or coordination with a local para-transit service.
Our compassionate and capable staff consists of a Director, an Assistant Director (Registered Nurse), a Personal Care Assistant and an Activity Director. Whatever the activity our adult day care provides participants with engaging social interaction with their peers enabling full interaction in our community. Health assessments and therapeutic activities are designed to promote the participant s ability to remain independent. The center supports caregivers providing them with much needed respites during the week.
The Senior Adult Day Care Center accommodates up to 30 seniors. At any given time you will be able to visit and see seniors doing stretching exercises or Zumba, or engaged in a lively exchange during a group discussion.
