I have lived in the city for most of my life but have had the pleasure of living and working in rural Western Australia where I was entrusted to look after a large variety of animals. The following is a list of "pets" I have successfully minded (and or owned myself): Dogs; cats; rat; ducks; hens; ducks; snakes; potty calves; sheep (small flock of three); goat; horses and a pig.
