| Ik heb veel affiniteit met diverse doelgroepen die een verstandelijke beperking en/of gedragsproblematiek hebben. Tijdens mijn studie MMZ niveau 4 heb ik veel ervaring opgedaan in het werken met kinderen, jongvolwassenen en ouderen met een gedragsproblematiek zoals autisme, ADHD, ODD en hechtingsproblematiek maar ook met cliënten die een lichamelijke beperking hebben. | I am a 27 year old Psychology graduate from Scotland. I have been a carer for my severely handicapped and autistic brother for most of my life, and this has inspired me to help others in similar situations. I am experienced in all aspects of personal care, non-verbal communication, prescribed diets, administration of medication, using basic medical equipment to check stats (BP, oxygen levels etc.) and mobility support (including wheelchairs and walking support). I also have some experience in mental health support work, with both adults and children. I provided support within a "befriending" role to individuals with autism, schizophrenia, and drug and alcohol abuse problems. In this role I completed crisis counselling training, ASIST suicide intervention training, and received a Disclosure Scotland PVG check. I also completed my last Emergency First Aid training (Urban Training, Scotland) in June 2017.
