Hi! My name is Lucia, and I'm passionate about providing exceptional childcare! With a Bachelor's in Psychology and Romance Languages, and a minor in Education from UNC Chapel Hill, I bring a solid educational foundation to my childcare approach.
I have extensive experience working with children across various age groups. I worked as a full-time nanny for over six months for two families, where I supported daily routines, educational needs, and emotional well-being. At the Carolina Center for Intellectual Disabilities, I assisted in leading social skills groups for youth with autism. As a Birth Doula at UNC Hospital, I provided emotional and physical support to expectant mothers. Additionally, I spent 8 years working in an orphanage in South Africa and have over 5 years of babysitting experience, caring for children and fostering their development. Beyond my work with children, I have a passion for animals, which led me to spend 4 years working at a Cat Café.
I enjoy crafting, especially making handmade bracelets for new moms, reading, and cooking. I also speak 4 different languages - English, Italian, Spanish adn French! Excited to create a positive, fun environment :)
