Hi! I'm Erin, an American student at the VU. The past two years I have been living in Paris, as an au pair speaking English to two little girls (3 and 5) and the year after as an after school babysitter teaching English to a 2 year old girl. I grew up in the suburbs of Boston and have been taking care of my disabled brother for as long as I can remember. He has cerebral palsy, meaning he needs help with daily activities (meal time, getting dressed, bathing, stretching and exercise, etc.) and I have officially been his personal care attendant since I was 13 until I left at 18. Some other experiences I had are evening babysitting, including an autistic boy, teaching dance classes to young kids, and volunteer work with kids with special needs.
