| I have worked in the media, communications and public relations industries for 12 years as a journalist, technical writer, copywriter, ghost writer and proofreader. Achievements and awards During my career in public relations I successfully executed an African Ebola outreach campaign for another Africa Foundation. This project won the international PR Daily 2014 Corporate Social Responsibility Award for Best Public Health/Safety Initiative. I was also a copywriter for international public relations company a Bank Prosper Campaign, which was named a Campaign of the Year at an 2015 Awards. This communication programme supported the launch of the Group’s first ever campaign, Prosper, in 11 African markets. Why do I want to be a tutor? I have a special interest in helping non-native English speakers gain confidence to use the English language. This includes conversational skills, writing and reading. I enjoy working with adults and children (from age 12) who want to improve their English conversational, writing and reading skills.
