A loving, busy, family with professional working parents in Madison, Wisconsin is looking for a reliable and energetic caretaker/nanny share. The family enjoys the outdoors, time with friends, and travel (when it was still possible). The family has two daughters, ages 10 and 7, who attend public school. Both children are engaging, fun, and enjoy time with their caregivers. The older child has motor, learning, and language delays so acceptance of developmental disabilities and difference is a must - but experience is not. The family recently moved to Madison for jobs in the medical field, and has lived all over the US (originally from San Diego and Boston). Before moving, the family had the kids in daycare (Montessori), with the long-term support of several nannies and providers from the school in their home. They have also hosted two au pairs over the past 4 years in Milwaukee. Hello - My husband and I are looking for a nanny share on the near-west side of Madison for our 3 year old son (March 2018) and 15 month old son (September 2020). We have a 5 year old Wirehaired Pointer and a 9 year old cat. Our ideal nanny share: We are looking for an active family with a laid back style who is interested in their child(ren) exploring nature, parks, hikes, playgrounds, zoo, beach, swimming, as well as typical indoor activities such as imaginative play, reading, arts/crafts. Staying active is important to us. A family with a child aged 1-4 is ideal for Our sons to engage in social interaction with peers his age. I work part-time and only need about 24 hours of care, but am considering going back full time in Jan or Feb. If part time days needed M-TR 8:00-2:00 and if full-time M-F 8:00-5:00.
