There are many situations that can benefit from servicesoffered by Society's Assets. Here are some examples:
*Diagnosis of a medical condition (Alzheimer's, Dementia, Parkinson's, Multiple sclerosis, Stroke, heart failure, heart attack, respiratory illness/COPD, cancer, diabetes, arthritis, vision loss, etc.)
*Support with medications - taking multiple medications or requiring assistance with taking medications
*Having a history of falls
*Requiring assistance with 1 or all of the 5 Activities of Daily Living (ADLs); 1. Bathing: personal hygiene and grooming. 2. Dressing: dressing and undressing. 3.Transferring: movement and mobility. 4. Toileting: continence-related tasks including control and hygiene. 5. Eating: preparing food and feeding.
*Having a history of mental illness
*Need a home helper
*Need travel, shopping, events or home companionship
*Having a surgical wound or a pressure sore
*Having a cognitive impairment
*Respite care
