The tour will start at the indicated time in front of the picturesque SeaGlass Carousel, in the heart of Battery Park. Once gathered, we will hear a brief historical introduction about New York and the port area, and head to security checkpoint, which we will pass with priority access. At that point, we will board the official ferry operated by Statue City Cruises, the only one allowed to land on Liberty Island and Ellis Island. During the crossing, which lasts about 15–20 minutes, we will enjoy a great view of the Manhattan skyline and New York Harbor. From here, we’ll take a walk through the lovely neighborhoods, high rises, parks, and landmarks which dot East Village and make it one of New York’s most iconic neighborhoods.
