we are looking for a teacher-student situation for 3 to 4 hours a day using a home school curriculum for a middle school age child with a specific disability. He was born with a malformed heart, it was repaired at age 10 months and will be done again in December, 2024. His disability is a deregulation issue. He see a therapist and she will be included with an introduction to the student. He does not do well in a school setting, primarily because schools are set up to teach "normal" children. According to Special Education laws, the school was asked to follow his I-54 yet an uneducated (with his specific problem) para pro has been assigned who's response is to discipline instead of redirect.
