- Supervise and engage with students during after school activities. - Maintain a positive, supportive, and inclusive atmosphere. - Ensure the safety and well being of all students at all times. - Manage classroom behavior and resolve conflicts in a positive and constructive manner. - Care, safekeeping, and upkeep of assigned materials. - Assist in preparing materials and setting up activities. - Serves as a representative of VAC Enrichment and maintains a positive and professional manner. - Completes all training and paperwork as required by VAC Enrichment. - Understands the curriculum and concepts thoroughly to be able to provide value to participants with diverse abilities and interests. - Communicates with parents and clients in a knowledgeable, respectful and tactful manner to address questions or concerns. - Adheres to all VAC Enrichment and school safety procedures and procedures for supervision and release of children. Class instruction includes arriving 15 minutes before class to set up, teaching your 1-hour class, and assisting with parent pick up for about 10-15 minutes after class.
