Looking For A 3rd Grade Language Arts, Math, Science, History Tutor In Washington Boro.

Hi! We are a homeschooling family who would like in-person help at our home 2 days a week for approximately 4 hours/day. Some of the curriculum is set (Singapore math, Orton Gillingham, etc) and the tutor would be responsible for teaching Math, Language Arts, Science, and History preferably 9am-1 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. The student is an 8-year-old boy starting 3rd grade. Experience teaching/tutoring preferred with skills in managing/ motivating children to learn. Some of the subjects such as science and history come from a Christian worldview and the tutor would need to be comfortable with teaching from that perspective. We have been homeschooling in various forms for about 10 years and have experience interfacing with tutors and part time teachers. Thanks for your interest!
