Learning disability (IEP-currently functioning at an academic level of grade 2). Personality: Kind, initially shy, speaks in a low tone, and enjoys music (mostly hip hop and R&B, both old and new). Has a good sense of humor once comfortable. JOB DESCRIPTION I am seeking a compassionate and engaging specialist to provide additional support for a 16-year-old boy with a learning disability. He is a shy but friendly teen who will warm up once he feels comfortable. RESPONSIBILITIES *Provide assistance once per week, and other activities. * Days: Wednesday after 3pm, Saturday, Sunday *Tutoring on specific topics (materials will be provided). *Accompany and encourage him to participate in group activities and meetups with peers on weekends. *Assist with cooking dinner together at least once a week. *Accompany him to the YMCA (free)
