My son is in second grade. Having issues with reading. We just got to level G with 94% accuracy but he should be at level J. He is a FOMO kid and has trouble slowing down and focusing if he feels he is missing out on something he'd enjoy more. He starts off strong but then snowballs when he makes mistakes. He gets anxious and very fidgety which leads to more errors. He needs a confidence boost. We do homework at home and work with him on his reading. He also has extra help at school with a reading specialist. I plan on getting him tested for a learning discrepancy but I need to start the paperwork.
