I am a mentor to a 15y/o boy who is severely behind in math and reading/writing. He does have an IEP, but clearly it is not working. He is in 10th grade and his math is approximately at a first grade level and his reading and writing are probably at a 4th or 5th grade level. I am hoping to find a tutor that is available to spend more time with him than I can. He is easy to work with and has demonstrated the ability to learn if given the appropriate attention.
