Looking For A Life Skills Helper For Teen (Saturday Outings)

Our 17-year-old autistic daughter qualifies for a staff person to work with her on life skills out in the community. Here is the job description and link to application: Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with a polite, friendly teenager who enjoys listening to music, spending time with animals, and performing in local theatre groups. In this role, you will help her become more involved in community events and will help her learn skills to become more independent. She is interested in learning how to cook, budgeting, learning how to use public transportation and would like to find a volunteer opportunity. She is seeking a friendly and reliable individual to explore new activities with and who will support her in learning new skills.
