C. needs help with his English homework. He hates doing it, and it's like pulling teeth to get it done. At times I feel like I have to tell him what to write for it to get done - but that doesn't help him in the long run. He lacks confidence in his abilities to do English homework because his understanding of the English language is not great (it's his only language, but suffered some disadvantages during elementary school) He loves writing stories with his friend, but lacks confidence in English class. He has ADHD and (likely) autism. At times there's severe executive dysfunction. Can become overwhelmed really quickly and will shut down. He'll give excuses "I can't read" or "I can't do it, it's too hard". He's doing that to see if he can get away with it - it's not true. I want him to do homework so he can pass/graduate. Please help
