1 + 1 = 2tor Looking For Math Instruction For An Easily Distracted, But Insanely Fun 5th Grade Boy.

Hi! We are looking for someone who has experience or training in teaching math. Our child is normal IQ, but has ADHD and is about a year behind his peers in math. He has an IEP and receives help during school but he is not closing the knowledge gap and is increasingly aware of it. Someone with skill at redirecting attention and keeping focus would be great. Our son specifically asked for help so the good news is that he is on board! He is a very social, athletic, funny, and confident 10-year-old boy, but he is not fond of school and it's showing. He's become very aware of his knowledge gap and wants to improve his math skills as a top priority, especially before heading off to Junior High. Reading support is a bonus!
