My 14-year-old daughter needs a mentor and someone who can help her to gain more organization skills so she can be consistent in using her planner, checking what work is not complete, using folders to turn in work, advocating and talking to teachers when she needs extra time or help. She has a poor attitude and needs someone who she can look up to. Ideally, this happens once a week or twice. Go over organization strategies, come up with a plan for the week to get things done in addition to motivate her to improve other areas of her life. She is in the 9th grade, recently moved to NC from VA.
